Joes Pizza
122 S 16th St, Philadelphia, Philadelphia,
The pizza here is very authentic. Highly recommend the food. Everything is good here. I have been going there since 1992. Although I am a bit embarrassed to agree that service is not equal. Tend to favor cute girls, but then again they are Itailian and cute! If you try to go after work, you will be disappointed as they are closed. Hard to get a table during busy hours, might have to get your slice to go! Recommend going with someone else, one to wait for the pizza the other to grap a table upstairs.

Tacconelli's Pizza
2604 E Somerset St, Philadelphia, Philadelphia,
I live right around the corner and when my husband and I first bought our house that is all you would hear "Oh you live by Tacconelli's" You gotta have it" Well we did and I wasn't that impressed it was okay but now we order from 3 Brothers, cheaper I think tastier and you don't have to call a day in advance for your dough ( this annoys me as I feel the whole idea of ordering a pizza is because it is no fuss, quick and easy without a plan type thing)
